Where are you located?
Located on a serene, historic site in Auburn, California, (about half an hour north of Sacramento) in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada range. Our nearest airports are San Francisco International Airport and Sacramento International Airport.
Do you provide a detox program or 24 hours medical monitoring?
We are committed to help our patients. Since Restoration Recovery is a lower level of care when it comes to alcohol and substance abuse, we understand that some of our patients may require a higher level of care than we offer.
There are times when a participant may need additional daily structure and/or 24 hour medical monitoring in order to treat acute psychical withdrawal symptoms. In these instances Restoration Recovery’s staff is committed to assuring that we help find the right treatment program for you based on the level of care needed for that specific individual.
How long is your program?
We offer specific programs to meet our patients needs. Our facility offers individualized drug and alcohol programs for 30, 60, 90 days and up to a year.
Do you take insurance?
Yes, we do. We work with your insurance provider directly during the intake process. Please contact our Admissions department and they will provide you with more information.
Do you provide an IOP (outpatient) program?
Yes, we offer an evening treatment program to accommodate work and academic schedules. Our program is a structured 3-5 days a week.
When are family and friends allowed to visit?
We encourage family involvement and believe that when friends and family are involved in their loved ones recovery, success rates dramatically increase. Unlike other intense residential treatment programs, Restoration Recovery Center’s program allows our patients to receive the care they need while continuing to live out there daily lives without interruption. Patients, when deemed appropriate by clinical staff, will have multiple opportunities to meet with their loved ones.
Although Restoration Recovery Center supports patients with meeting all their needs, we do not provide patients with spending money. Patients are advised to have money on hand.
Resident rooms are simple, clean and comfortable. It should be noted that we are not a “spa”. With a busy daily schedule, residents will spend limited time in their bedrooms. Roommate selection is based upon clinical determination. We accommodate our patients with groceries while they are in our sober living environment. We utilize a community center approach and encourage our patients to participate in weekly family-style meals. Members of the recovery program can learn from each other in this setting and build essential life skills.
We also offer meal planning and have periodic monthly visits from a chef who provides training and lessons to our patients in order to allow them to learn and develop skills that will teach the individual to learn how to cook delicious and nutritious meals.
Smoking is allowed in designated smoking areas.
Yes, with prior notice (please tell us before admission) we will do our best to accommodate a special diet.
Yes, electronic devices are allowed. After the initial 72-hour blackout, all our patients are allowed to bring and keep in their possession cell phones and laptops.
